Twisted Love – Review

Overall:      ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Its yet another Ana Huang book review!. First things first, its a billionaire romance. The plot twist and story writing, where both leads have dark and depressing past which are intertwined was well written. The girls gang is the highlight of the entire book. I am excited to read each of their stories! The romance transition between brother’s friend for 8 years to lovers is too good. Although Alex keeping a secret of that big and playing her off to hate him was bit of turn off, but the way he begged her and gained her trust back is something that had my heart. Coming to spice, well, you know its Alex fucking Volkov , so obviously we will be on our knees for it!. My morality scale going up and down through out the book coz of this vibes-

I’d rather be the villain with her by my side than the hero who risked losing her because of a misguided sense of morality.

Story/Plot : ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Story is top notch. The book stands for a smut read with good story line. The way their romance builds and him taking care of her more than brothers friend was too good. Operation emotion cracked me up and the fun girls had with it is entertaining. Their jealousy with Liam and Madeline , them falling in love, making it exclusive was well portrayed. Although the betrayal was coming from the start from Alex side, the impact threw me off. Him constantly saying not to romanticize him hit hard at this point. But all ended well once Alex comes to his senses.

If she was ignoring me, she was in deep shit. And if she was hurt, I would bury the person responsible six feet beneath the ground. In pieces.

~ Alex Volkov

Romance:   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Alex stands for men written by woman! Him being void of emotions but cracking up a little just for her had my romcomy heart going crazy. There were many instances where he supported, encouraged and challenged her. His words were commanding and soothing all at the same time.

Love is like money. Its worth is determined by those who believe in it. And you obviously do.

~ Alex Volkov

Some credit should be given to the possessiveness Alex showed. Be it when Liam interfered or when she was about to switch her swim instructor or when she asked if they are exclusive….he constantly made his point to show it off.

~ If you think I’m going to let some fucker swop in and take what’s mine, you don’t know me at all.

~ Alex Volkov

Spice:         ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There is no particular moment to say or quote. He is complete Alpha male in and out and when he says- “You’re about to find out what happens when you invite yourself into the lion’s den.” , he literally meant it. Chapter 22 should definitely be mentioned.

Snippet for my fellow book readers!

Some of my favorite lines form the book are:

You want to fuck, we fuck. You want to date, we date. You want to call me your boyfriend, Ill call you my girlfriend.

You’re the light to my dark, Sunshine, without you I’m lost.
